In my classroom I always refer to my students as “friends”, my husband totally thinks this is weird haha. But I think it helps build relationships. Every student you meet or co-worker you encounter has the opportunity to be a friend. I hope to have the opportunity to help you and build friendships as a teacher and busniess owner.
I started this business because I have a strong desire to help teachers be their best. Teaching is not an easy job, and at times it can feel super isolating when you are teaching in a room by yourself. Everyone’s work situation is different too, and it feels like nobody understands your specific situation or troubles. Some teachers work on a team, others do not. Some teachers have coaches or curriculum to build off of, other teachers have to plan their own units (which I have done with my team before). I think we can all agree that no matter what your work situation is, there always feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day.
My middle school history teacher always used to say “work smarter, not harder”.
This is where I come in! I want you to get your work done, and feel like you are making a difference, but also live a personal life you enjoy. My goal is to help teachers feel like they have a place to turn to for support and new ideas. I want to help you make your job enjoyable and fun by providing resources and tips to make you more efficient. So let’s do this!
